The wildly popular, sci-fi film “Predator” (1987) is getting a sequel; and it doesn’t look like Arnold Schwarzenegger made the cut.

To many, when someone references Schwarzenegger, the first thing to come to mind is his famous role as the Terminator or his fight against an extraterrestrial warrior in the Central American jungle.

The spiritual sequel to the 1980’s thriller is currently in production and aiming for a 2018 release. The director has revealed the cast, and Schwarzenegger isn’t apart of it. The film is said not to follow the original story line, however it is within the same realm as the first film.

The cast includes Olivia Munn, Boyd Holbrook, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, and Keegan-Michael Key; plus rumors of also starring 50 Cent and Thomas Jane.

Since it won’t be following Schwarzenegger’s previously established plot in the first movie, it will have a horror spin of it’s own, already having revealed it will receive an R rating. However, the exact plot is unknown at this time.
